Mandatory Check-In Options

Thursday April 25th

  • Early bird check in – Meet and Greet with Mark at the fishing counter
    • Location: ACE in Oakley
    • Time: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
  • Second check in Location: Big Break Marina at the BAM Trailer
    • Time: 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM
    • Note: Bring your Tackle Warehouse receipt (online or paper).

Meeting Options

Thursday April 25th

  • Location: Big Break Marina or via Zoom
    • You do not need to attend in person.

Event Information

  • Your boat cannot leave the water during the tournament – No trailering over the rock wall.
  • Launch: Big Break Marina ($10 fee, use credit card or exact change).
  • A Good Meeting Place for Co/Pro: Jack in the Box parking lot across from Big Break Rd.
  • Boat Check
    • Time: Starting at 4:30 AM at Big Break launch ramp
    • Identify Crew: Look for crew in green shirts
    • Boat Float: Receive a boat float once your boat is checked (No float = disqualification).
  • Parking: Park your truck and trailer in the back lot.
  • Interviews: Thomas will be conducting morning interviews; be on the lookout if you want to be included.
  • Tournament Start: Blast off at 6:15 AM (flights of 14 boats every 20 mins starting at 3:15 PM).
  • Fishing Rules:
    • 13” minimum size limit (short fish = loss of fish plus 1 lb penalty).
    • 5 fish limit – non-shared weight – fish for your own fish.
    • Fish over 5 lbs must be in its own bag.
    • Pros fish from the front, Co’s fish from the back.
  • Payouts:
    • Tackle Warehouse payouts on Saturday during weigh-in (must be present to win).
    • Park your boat at the Big Break dock, weigh in, fill bag with water, and take your fish to the release boat.
    • Move your boat so others can weigh in.
    • Leaders (pro and co) come to the BAM trailer for a quick interview.
    • Routine repeats on Saturday.
    • BBT and Garmin payouts at Sunday’s awards.
